November and December are crazy months for Caleb and me. Between flying to California earlier this month {as you may have seen on instagram or in this post & this post), having friends in town, preparing for the holidays, trying to soak up the last few weeks of pretty weather here in NYC and preparing for our upcoming trips to Ireland, France & Switzerland- I am exhausted!! If it weren’t for Caleb reminding me how much I enjoy exploring our city together on the weekends, there is a good chance I would spend all day weekend cuddled up on my couch.
This past weekend Caleb lovingly encouraged me to grab my things and get outside to soak up the last few days of true fall temperatures. We started our day with high tea near Union Square then meandered down to Greenwich Village. As we were walking I realized I was no longer exhausted, but rather, excited. The energy of the city could make anyone feel alive. And when you feel alive, joy fills your every fiber and anything feels possible. It was one of those days where I fell in love with New York City all over again.
This weekend, I want to encourage you to go where you feel most alive! Go on adventures, try something new, embrace the upcoming holiday season. Life is too short to not make the most of it right now.
What or where makes you feel alive?
Also, I’m currently loving this light pinkish/apricot coat. It is super thin and the movement is gorgeous! And it is currently on sale for under $30!

Sunny days make me feel alive! Always LOVE seeing photos of NYC as an ex-New Yorker. After 10 years there I just felt like I needed some more breathing space and we decided to move to California. I still cannot believe that I stayed in one place for that long because I’m used to moving places as soon as I don’t love it there anymore. I wish to travel more and already booked a trip to Finland for next month where I’ll spend the holidays for the first time in 14 years! Sooo looking forward to that.
These photos are GORGEOUS Chloe!!! Loving the pink duster/coat. And I’d say traveling makes me feel alive- or visiting somewhere for the first time!
This outfit is so cute! I love that coat! Such a pretty color!
